Nicholas Hart Khan

Nicholas Khan is a visual artist based in Raleigh, North Carolina and formerly in Connecticut. He specializes as a painter of landscapes, architecture, and abstracts. He also has experience in portraiture, installations, and colorizing photos of historical buildings.

He received his B.A. from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2017 where he studied with Andy Jones, Qimin Liu and Afarin Rahmanifar. His major also included art history, where he studied the history of the Hudson River School, frame history and design, and vernacular Victorian architecture in New England.

In 2021 Nicholas graduated from the MFA program at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University (Boston). His work there explored narratives of identity as it relates to private and public spaces as well as the histories of those places.
